FAQ: How does referral tracking work in Wooly?

Wooly is a marketing platform that drives brand engagement on social media and boosts word of mouth sales. In order to track conversions, Wooly provides a client-side script that tracks link clicks and referred orders.

To track link clicks, simply follow the instructions to install the tracking pixel on any landing page where you expect influencers and ambassadors to direct traffic. Link Tracking Setup (see Step 2)

To capture referred orders, install the order pixel onto your order confirmation page. Wooly only requires a minimum amount of information about the sale in order to attribute it to the correct ambassador or influencer, which is described in detail in the documentation. Order Tracking Setup (see Step 3)

Alternatively, for brands who prefer to send referral information from the backend, Wooly offers a server-side API that has an Orders endpoint for sending referred orders to our platform. Rest API Documentation
